Clay brick with clay as the main raw material, after processing molding and high temperature firing, widely used in the industrial field:

1.Metallurgical industry

In ironmaking blast furnaces, the bottom and hearth parts will be constructed with clay bricks. It can withstand the erosion of high temperature hot metal and slag, and can also cope with frequent temperature changes to ensure the long-term stable operation of the blast furnace. For example, the blast furnace of a large iron and steel plant uses high-quality clay bricks at the bottom of the furnace, and the service life is extended by 2-3 years. Clay bricks are used for the top and wall of the furnace in steelmaking open-hearth furnace, and their good heat insulation can reduce heat loss, improve energy efficiency and reduce steelmaking cost.

2.Glass industry

The regenerator of glass melting kilns is built with clay bricks. In the glass production process, when the high-temperature flue gas passes through the regenerator, the clay brick absorbs heat and stores it, and when the cold air passes, the heat is released and the air is preheated, thus improving the thermal efficiency of the melting kiln, and making the glass liquid uniformly heated to ensure the stability of the glass quality.

3.Chemical industry

In some chemical reactors, clay bricks are used as lining materials. For example, the production of phosphate fertilizer rotary kiln, the furnace has corrosive gases and high temperature environment, clay bricks with good chemical stability and high temperature resistance, resist gas erosion, protect the furnace body, ensure the smooth production, extend the service life of equipment.
