Recently, a group of customers from Bangladesh visited Ruitai Lianxin for a two-day site visit and technical exchange. This is another important customer for our factory in South Asia, following India and the UAE, marking the continued growth of our refractory products’ influence in the Southeast Asian market.
Accompanied by our technical team, the customers visited the silica brick production line, the magnesia-alumina brick forming workshop, the high-temperature tunnel kiln, and the finished product testing center. From raw material crushing and high-pressure molding to firing at 1700℃, the customers showed great interest in each process, frequently stopping to examine the brick density, dimensions, and cross-sectional structure.
In the finished product testing laboratory, the customers witnessed firsthand the on-site testing process for key indicators such as load softening temperature, thermal shock resistance, and compressive strength. When they saw that the magnesia-chrome bricks‘ spalling resistance far exceeded the industry average, the customers nodded in approval and carefully recorded the relevant data parameters.
During the meeting, the client introduced the current status of refractory material usage in their two blast furnaces and one lime rotary kiln, highlighting the challenges posed by the high temperature and humidity environment in Southeast Asia, such as the bricks’ susceptibility to hydration and erosion. Our engineers specifically recommended a combination of anti-sparging high-alumina bricks and silica-mullite bricks, and conducted in-depth discussions on kiln construction schemes, kiln drying curves, and after-sales service systems.
Both parties also exchanged views on details such as packaging specifications, delivery time, and customs clearance procedures at the port of Bangladesh. The client stated that the performance parameters of our products highly matched their operating requirements, and they particularly valued the comprehensive technical support we provided, from selection to construction guidance.
At the end of the visit, the client highly praised our production scale, technical strength, and quality management system, and expressed their intention to place an initial sample order. Both parties agreed to complete sample confirmation and quotation details within one month, striving to secure the first refractory bricks order by the end of the year.
