Henan Ruitai Lianxin Refractory Materials Co., Ltd. designed refractory solutions and constructed the furnace for an Indian copper smelting plant.
During communication with the client, they provided furnace drawings and slag. We conducted compositional analysis of the slag and performed static crucible slag resistance tests. Representative bricks selected for testing included directly bonded magnesia-chrome brick-20, electrofused rebonded magnesia-chrome brick-20, zirconium composite corundum brick, premium high-alumina brick, first-grade high-alumina brick, chrome corundum brick D, and chrome slag brick.
Based on the internal penetration and erosion of the crucible, it was observed that the areas of chrome corundum D, chrome slag brick, electrofused-20, directly bonded-20, and zirconium corundum composite brick in contact with the raw materials showed virtually no erosion.

Directly bonded magnesia-chrome bricks
Considering cost, the client chose directly bonded magnesia-chrome brick. After the furnace began operation, the client reported high satisfaction with the bricks and placed an order for the following year.
